Baltimore Style Album Quilts

I'm sure I'm not alone when I mention that I wish there was a faster way to hand applique these quilts.  These stunning quilts that I've seen at quilt shows inspired me to make my own.  In Feb-2010, I started to take a class by a wonderful teacher named Pebble Rehm.  I had to drop the class due to my schedule but, I kept right on working on my blocks.  Yesterday, Thurs., May 25, 2011, I finished my fourth block.  These Baltimore Album patterns can be found in, "The Best of Baltimore Beauties Part II", by Elly Scienkiewicz.  Below are four photos of these blocks.

This block is Pattern #18, called Regal Bird Amidst the Roses.

This next block is Pattern #9: Intertwined Crown of Flowers.

This next block is Pattern #74: Dove & Lyre.

This next block was from a copy made by teacher, Pebble Rehm with permission.  Unsure about details of what book the pattern is from.

Hand work to be continued throughout the month.  For now I need to take a break....
